Shawbrook Base Rate (SBR) is subject to a minimum floor of 0.75%. This means that if SBR is lower than 0.75% the rate we charge on SBR linked products will remain at 0.75%. Please note that the current Shawbrook Base Rate is 0.10% (as of March 2020).

Criteria at a glance…

Customer type
Individuals (including foreign nationals residing in the UK), Expats, LLPs, Limited Companies, PLCs, Trusts, SIPPS First time landlords subject to additional criteria
Residential flats above or close to commercial premises?
Acceptable up to 75% LTV subject to sales demand being achievable within 12 months.
Portfolio landlord
A customer with 4 or more mortgaged BTL properties. We will require a Portfolio Schedule to review gearing and affordability, Business Bank Statements to review rental streams and cashflow and an Asset and Liability Form to understand outside financial position.
